
Rada Exempts From Import Duty Goods Needed For Drone Production
This was reported on Telegram by Danylo Hetmantsev , Chair of the parliamentary Committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Ukrinform reports.
According to the lawmaker, Bill 13305 amends the Customs Code on exemption from import duty of goods for security and defense needs and elimination of technical inconsistencies.
Bill 13306 introduces changes to the Tax Code on exemption from value added tax on the import of goods for security and defense needs.
Read also: UK boosts drone investment for Ukraine tenfoldHetmantsev emphasized that the new legislation will provide favorable conditions for the development and production of unmanned systems for defense needs which use an optical cable for control and video signal transmission.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, until the end of this year, Ukraine enjoys privileges for the import of components for the production of drones, ammunition, projectiles, and other defense goods.
